Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, I’ve always carried a certain pressure—to be great, to stand out, and to make something meaningful out of my name. My name is Denver Wafer, and Eat N Run Chicken & Fish is a reflection of that mindset.

Growing up, I knew I wanted more for myself, and I stayed focused on turning that vision into reality. That pressure never broke me—it built me. It pushed me to stay disciplined, to keep showing up, and to move with purpose in everything I do.

Over the years, I’ve poured that same energy into my business and into this restaurant. For me, it comes down to three things:
